Images that print sharp.
File types, size and resolution for the art you upload in the designer, plus how digitizing works for embroidery.
Before you upload
File requirements
The most per image. Bigger files won't upload.
Also accepted: JPG, JPEG, WebP, HEIC and HEIF.
Square art is the easiest to place and size.
Keeps edges and small text crisp when printed.
Why it matters
Small or saved-from-the-web images print soft.
Use the original file from your designer or logo folder. A PNG with a transparent background prints just your art, with no box around it.
Embroidery only
Digitizing, once per image.
Before we can stitch your art, we turn it into a file the embroidery machine can read. That takes testing and time, so there's a one-time fee.
Charged once per image, no matter how many items in your cart use it.
Already digitized? Use the same image again with no new fee.
Ink prints don't need digitizing, so there's no fee.
Deleting an image from your library also removes its digitizing. Upload it again later and the fee applies again.

Copyright and usage rights
You're responsible for what you upload. Before you add an image, make sure that:
You own the copyright, or have the rights to use the image.
You have permission for commercial use, where it applies.
The image follows these guidelines and the law.
